Episode 32: Summer Water Safety

In the summer, we’re in the water, and we need to be aware of the dangers of drowning. It happens fast and doesn’t actually involve the thrashing and screaming we grew up seeing on TV. Keith Cunningham, a veteran safety instructor for the American Red Cross and lifelong lifeguard, talks about training for keeping each other, especially kids, safe in the water. But as he explains, no elaborate training is required for the most important parts of water safety.
