Spotlight on Convirtiéndonos en Lexington!!
“Convirtiéndonos en Lexington (Becoming Lexington) is a bilingual show of community voices. It’s about people who have migrated to Lexington from somewhere else–anywhere else. Miranda has interviewed immigrants from Mexico and people from eastern Kentucky and the state of Georgia. Every week, she also reads excerpts from local literature, Bordered by Bluegrass: Stories of Mothers and Daughters from Kentucky and México written by or about immigrants and refugees in Lexington (Randi Ewing, Sara Anderson, Trans. Andrés Cruz).”
Tune into “Convirtiéndonos en Lexington” Tuesday 10-11 am and Saturday 2-3 pm on WLXL 95.7 FM!
